YourStake helps people understand the social and environmental impact of their investments. We believe that by providing people insight into what their investment portfolios actually do, we can help create real change.
We've built a pipeline for ingesting data about public companies from hundreds of sources, and the tools for financial advisors to use our data to help their clients make a difference with their investments. Users of our platform are managing over $400 billion in total assets–a number that's growing every day.
We're a remote-first company, backed by great investors, and we'd love to have you join our team to help us broaden our impact even further.
Your role:
You are going to be in charge of a) deeply understanding our customers, so that you can understand their needs and how we can elevate our current user experience to better serve their goals, and b) manifesting new ideas; driving forwards Greenfield features or products with deep understanding and conviction. You will come to deeply understand the business context and customer journey. You will coordinate with engineers.
We're a small team, so you'll be a big part of the company. You will report to the CEO. You'll have lots of freedom to choose your tools and approach, and your work will have a major impact on the business from your first day forward.

- Familiar with the wealth management industry. We can teach you a lot of the context here, though there’s a ton of nuanced jargon and relationships
- Have some professional background with software engineering teams
- Ideally are able to understand and write code
- Enthusiastic about tackling new projects and working on unfamiliar things
- Experienced with tools that transpose designs to code, e.g. Adobe XD or some html/css yourself
- Aesthetic sensibilities attuned to elegant professional design
- Comfortable wearing many hats as the business grows and changes
